Join us on Sunday 26th January for our first ever Sunflower Sunday, an activity session designed especially for families who have family members with additional needs. Come along at 9am before our normal opening hours to explore our Biffa Award gallery and take part in some free craft activities. We’ll also have a chill out space set up for you with books for you to enjoy (these will be picture books, if you want to know which ones in advance please just ask). The gallery opens to the general public at 10am and the activities will be out until 11am to give you plenty of time to enjoy them.

Sunflower Sundays are free to attend and don’t require any pre-booking - just turn up any time between 9am and 11am on Sunday 26th January. For this session our activities will have a 'flower' theme.

We know some families will benefit from knowing what to expect before you visit, so if you'd like an informal chat just give us a call on 0121 557 6265 or email us at [email protected] and we'll be happy to talk to you about the event. You'll also find some helpful information in our access guide

This is a pilot session to help us develop Sunflower Sundays into a regular part of our programme so we welcome your feedback before, during and after the event! Please get in touch with us before you visit if you think there’s something you need to know that we haven’t explained, or something you think we need to consider. We’d love to hear from you.

The Gongoozler will be open from 9am, so why not grab a drink in a takeaway cup or a breakfast snack and bring it down to the gallery whilst you enjoy the craft activities?

Booking for this event has now closed.
