Our fondest memories are often those associated with having fun. Play is at the heart of our lives as children, and as adults we enjoy opportunities to look back on favourite games or toys, or to try out new ways to play.

The Black Country at Play celebrates the fun and the whimsical, the games and toys that have been bringing joy to our lives from childhood to adulthood.

Discover favourite objects nominated by our visitors, volunteers and staff, and have a go at some of the games we've included in the exhibition for you to play with. Did you enjoy skipping? Love your Playstation? Have a box full of LEGO you won't get rid of? Enjoy a game of Ticket to Ride? Then this is the exhibition for you!

If you'd like to nominate a game or toy for this exhibition keep an eye on our Facebook page throughout June for your chance to get involved!
