Join us for a 45 minute journey taking in over 420 million years of Black Country history. Discover how the unique circumstances of geology, archaeology, engineering, sociology and economics changed the world as you travel underground into our limestone mines and caverns on our skipper-guided trip.

We can also offer a variety of other trip options to fit in with your teaching programme; please enquire if you have specific requirements.

To complement your tunnel trip, we offer a range of educational workshops. These hands-on sessions last approximately 50 minutes, cover a range of curriculum topics and are led by our education team. The workshop sessions are currently available for KS1, KS2 and KS3 but please enquire if you’re interested in KS4+ as we are happy to adapt them for older audiences.

For both education professionals and students, we offer significant benefits, including:

  • Special prices for school groups
  • Free entry for teachers
  • Free coach parking
  • Free preliminary/exploratory visits for teachers
  • Qualified first aid professionals on site
  • MCA registered boat skippers
  • Risk assessments available
  • Free admission for coach drivers

Don’t just take it from us…
