Here at Dudley Canal & Tunnel Trust, we endeavour to support students looking to get the most out of their work experience. We do this by making their one week placements as diverse as possible with them gaining a range of life/work transferable skills. One key skill that we like to focus on teaching our work experience students is customer service as it is such a crucial part of the jobs they’re most likely to pursue in the next few years.   

We also strive to broaden our students' minds as to what working can be like by getting to learn how to do a wide range of tasks from processing a booking to assisting our skippers on our mine checks.
